Weekly sermons from the teaching team at MiddleTree Church in St. Louis, Missouri.
Our church exists because we want to encounter a powerful, living God who changes and transforms lives. Because of what God is doing in our lives, we are committed to loving, serving, and bringing restoration to those around us. We believe we should make every place better physically and spiritually—starting with our city.
Christ uttered these beautiful, promising words to those who hold to his teachings in John 8, “Whoever the son sets free, is free indeed.” Yet, freedom isn’t a word many of us would use to describe how our hearts relate with God. Rather than freedom, we may feel constricted, as though our salvation relies on rule-keeping, that our worth is measured by our works, that there’s this looming sense of condemnation. In our 10-week series, “Free at last,” we’ll journey through the book of Galatians to explore how the gospel frees us from these pressures, offering a life of grace, faith, and true freedom offered in Christ.
